How DAWN Works
DAWN allows users to build wireless networks by deploying DAWN’s proprietary RAS (Radio Access System) hardware and sell surplus internet bandwidth to nearby users. The entire transaction process is governed by a decentralized verification system, ensuring transparency and fairness.
Key participants in the DAWN ecosystem include:
Broadband Nodes (BN): Provide wholesale IP transmission and bandwidth.
Distributed Nodes (DN): Deploy radio antennas to enhance signal coverage.
End Users (EU): Individuals or businesses consuming DAWN’s network bandwidth.
Validator Nodes (VN): Independently verify the authenticity of bandwidth usage.
Solana Blockchain: Executes smart contracts and stores transaction data.
This model significantly boosts internet accessibility, allowing individual users to operate as ISPs while ensuring network security and transaction reliability.
